Just rode my new bike home from the shop. These padded shorts sure make me look WEIRD. Other than that, though, I am SO impressed with this thing. It's super light, goes FAST FAST FAST, and is just a joy.
Love to all. Even you, the lady followed me for about 1.25 miles, afraid to pass me.

I am returned to senior year in high chool. I dropped out of Cross Country and needed something to do. A bunch of guys on the ski team had bikes so I got one. Road it twenty miles a day, four days a week for one year. Turned it in for a Mountain Bike in college and miss it. I do not make time for exercise and your blog is a spark that is igniting a fire. Or annoying me into action, not sure which.
Lots of excuses in my life why I do not make the time to get out there and sweat. None of them relevant.
Why do today that which I can put off until tomorrow?
I've tried and tried to think of a ways of saying something without saying something...but it made my head hurt.
I just have to say that your padded shorts make me feel WEIRD. (But, I'm almost positive that we are having two different experiences of the same word.)
Additionally, my padded shorts feel...OH WAIT, I'm not wearing padded shorts...

I can empathise.... my butt hurts whenever I get on a bike so yes, those special bike shorts are so necessary!
